New Year's Greetings
For many years, New Year's Day has
been regarded as a day for making good
resolutions. It has come to be a day upon
which the individual takes stock of him
self. He contemplates his future activities
in terms of comparison 'with his past a
chievements, or failure to achieve; and
sets for himself a task to be performed
within a prescribed time.
We seriously urge the men and women
of this county to include in their 1931 reso
lutions a determination to make systema
tic savings deposits in this strong, well
managed bank.
The Union Trust Company, with its
large resources, ample capital and con
servative management, invites you to use
the facilities of its Savings Dpartment.
We are deeply grateful for the many
good friends w T e have in Forest City and
Rutherford county and wish to express to
them our gracious appreciation of their
friendship, their courtesy and hospitality
as well as the banking business entrusted
to us during the past year.
We thank them all most cordially.
