ORDINANCE i • Be it ordained by the Board of I Aldermen of the town of Forest | City, in the State of North Carolina, j County of Rutherford: I It shall be unlawful for any per. ! son. firm or corporation to throw, j sweep, or cause to be thrown or j swept, or allow same to be thrown. I swept or deposited from any pub- J lie building located within the cor- j porate limits of the town of Forest j City any waste paper, cans or trash j which might be unsightly, of any J kind, upon the ground from the J doors, windows, or any other open ings, from said public buildings, without first securing a container sufficient to hold said papers, cans, and any other trash or filth, and said containers shall be sufficiently cov ered to keep said papers, cans and other trash within said containers, each container and covering for same shall be furnished by the owner or [ manager of said public building. All waste paper, cans or trash to be de posited in said containers. The word,s Public building, shall mean and include all stores, filling stations, garages, theatres, livery stables, ware houses, blacksmith shops, cafes, hotels, and any other houses used as a general trading house. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction |or confession in open court shall be j subject to a fine not exceeding f $50.00 or imprisoned not exceeding {thirty days, in the discretion of the | court. j This ordinance shall be in full •force and effect from and after the ' 17th day of November, 1930.
