It will run on the Coast Line, by way of Ben nettsville, Maxton and Fayette ville on Wednesday, -August 6th. During the electric storm Tues night lightning struck a tree near the corner of Marcus McRim mon's house, about one-half mile n orth of town . After tearing the tree into splinters the current reached the house and took off about two feet of the corner in which the two old darkies were sleeping. It did its work within arm's reach of their heads and kindling wood was scattered all around them, but tliev were not hurt. The Board of Countv Commis sioners meets Monday.
