The Board of Countv Commis sioners met in regular monthly session in the court house in Jackson on Monday, Feb. 3,1915, with all the members present as follows: John G. Stancell, chair man; John G. Fitzhugh and John T. Bolton, with S. J. Calvert, clerk. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. J. M, Flythe, Superintendent of the Home of the Aged and In firm, made his monthly report, showing balance due County 55 cents. He was allowed $170 for use at the Home during the month of February. It was ordered that the Fin ance Committee meet February 18th. Dr. H. W. Lewis, Superintend ent of Public Health, made his monthly report, which is as fol lows: "I would respectfully re port that the Health of the Coun ty has been good for .the month of January, 1913. Very little 'sickness of a serious nature has been reported. The health of the Home and Jail has been good and they are in good sanitary condition." A number of applications were made to the board for permission to list property, and for correc tions in the tax list. It was ordered that the vacant lot back of the Court House be donated to, the Daughters of the Confederacy for purpose of erect ing a monument, enclosing and beautifying the same.
