The fiist annual exhibition of the Car teret County Oyster, Fish, Game and rrduce AsSiciation opened on Wednes day December 14th. Ihe opening address was delivered by Hon. C. R. Thomas Jr. Ilev. E. M. Foi bs the venerable Rector of St Pauls P. E. Church oi'fered up an impressive prayer. The ezliibits were splendid. We wili publish in full next week the awards made by the several committees. Diplomas will be ready for those who are entitled to them next week. The attendance .'rom abioad was slim, Qwing to the Rail Roads not keeping faith with us. We will place the blame where; it belongs in our next issue.
