Where its provisions were in adequate to deal with regional prob lems, it has been suggested, accord ing to an announcement from the AAA, that regional or supplementary codes could meet local problems. The code is designed to remove unfair practices and wastes in marketing poultry and eggs, thus increasing re turns to producers and assure max imum results in grading and standard izing poultry products, in behalf of consumers as well as protecting farm ers with high quality products.
