C, Dec. 3 Mr. and Mrs. William F. Styron of Davis, celebrated their golden wedding an niversary, Saturday evening, at the home of their son, Harvey Styron in Waington, D. C. Thirty-seven invited guests present ed gifts to the happy couple and join ed them in celebrating their fifty years of married life together. The living room was tastefully dec orated with baskets of yellow and (and vases of white ones on the buffet The table was covered with a white Italian cut-work cloth and in the center was a beautiful three-tiered white wedding cake with golden dec orations and 'Fiftieth Anniversary' written in gold lettering around the base. A bride and groom graced the top. The cake was baked by one of Washington's best known bakers, The Sherrill Bakery, whose owner is a na tive of Lenoir, North Carolina. A salad, with sandwiches and coffee was served. On each plate was a small yellow basket of white mints. Yellow and white napkins were used and the favors for the guests were in yellow. At midnight the cake was cut and was as delicious as it was beautiful. The granddaughters, Rosalie and Jan et Styron, presided at the punch bowl, serving delicious fruit punch. Lukens, N. C.
