Roland Longest pitched his fourth
consecutive victory as Beaufort took
the measure of the Lenoir-Jone9
County All-Stars here last Sunday
10 to 3. Longest has yet to suffer
defeat.
Opportune hitting plus the six
passes issued by Cardwell and four
errors tells thes tory of the locals'
eighth win in eleven starts this
season. Brooks' two singles and a
double that drove in four runs pace;!
the 13 hit attack. Skarren's single
and double knocked in three scores
and R. Longest got two safeties to
aid his cause.
The visitors scored one in each of
the fourth, fifth and eighth when two
hits in each inning sent the mark
ers over. Adams and George got two
apiece of the nine hits gathered by starting at 3:30.

support, Brooks at short especially
featuring. Clark was the only local

North Carolina, Article 3, Paragraph 218 (c) subsection 7, and an or
der of the Superior Court cf Carteret County entered herein, the un
dersigned will
AT 12 O'CLOCK, NOON, ON MONDAY, AUGUST 31ST, 1936, AT
THE COURT HOUSE DOOR IN BEAUFORT, NORTH CAROLINA
offer for sale, in parcels, item by item, to the highest bidder for cash,
the real estate, notes, judgments, and any 0 her property belonging to
the Bank of Beaufort hereinafter described.
The undersigned does not warrant title to the p-oparties described
below and will sell said properties without recourse, subject to any and
all liens, equities and defenses which may be plead against the same;
and including all offsets which, it is understood embraces the right and
duty of the Commissioner of Banks and-or his Agents to withhold any
and all dividends on debtors' claims to reduce the loss or losses sustain
ed on their respective evidence of indebtedness, stock assessments and
or interest on either. All assets subject to prior sale.
The undersigned reserves the right to offer the various items of
assets for sale individually, in parcels or as a whole. The undersigned
also reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bids in said
sale.
Any and all sales made pursuant to this advertisement are sub
ject to confirmation of the Superior Court of Carteret County, North
Carolina. TERMS OF SALE: CASH UPON CONFIRMATION.
The highest bidders will be required to deposit 10 per cent of the
