Salter and daughter, Mrs. W. E. Lawrence, motored to Beau fort on Sunday afternoon. Messrs. North and Alex Nelson cf Bridgeton spent Sunday here visiting relatives. Misses Anna Stallings and Mary Carraway attended the Mother and Daughter Banquet at Beaufort High school on Friday night. Miss Hilda C; rraway of Bur lington Business College is home for the holidays. Miss Nannie Wallace spent the weekend visiting in Morehead City. Mrs. Lizzie Wallace is on the sick list. We hope she will soon be out again. Mrs. Emma Beechem returned home Sunday from Morehead City where she has been visiting.
