They had grown up , . together, together they had entered upon their professional career, and it . afforded him a sad pleasure to bear his testimony to the great, personal - and professional integrity of hia life long friend and compeer. They had practiced together for thirty years, and he epoJbs of him not only as a learned and accomplished jurist, and posesing vast literary acquirements, but aa a pure man. and a patriot.
