" Mixgo. westijrook's. The whole community was shocked by th sudden death of Mr. Geo. McLamb, who passed off tho stage of actioa'on the 2ofh inst. Mr. McLamb had been in feeble health tor some time, but was thought to be im proving at the time of his death. He ate a hearty supper the night of his death. He leaves a wife and family and a nost of rela tives and friends to mourn their loss. Uncle George, as lie was generally called by the people who knew him, was industirons, energetic . and peaceful. The record which he has left will be long remembered as one of pie ty, nobleness of heart and chris tian charity. On the evening of the evening of the 2Sth inst his funeial was preached by Uey. Lucdee Le, who did jus tice to tho occasion. After which liie remains were convey ed to the fauii y grave-yard, where he was placed to remain till the great ressurrection day.
