Messrs. Lippman Bros., Savannah,
Ga. : gentlemen I have tried your P.
P. P. for a disease of the skin, usually
known as skin cancer, of thirty years' ,
standing, and found great relief: It
purifies the blood and removes all lr- '

and prevents any spreading of the
sores. I have taken five or six bottles
and feel confident that another course ,
wiil effect a cure. It has also relieved
me from indigestion and stomach

unuie the law '-vile" in the eyes of
the Democratic machine. The'Dein-

State election law the State Force

bull pen in the Eastern counties, so
that no one can see their infamous
theft and fraud. Therefore any law
which would allow any man, who
was not the hireling and tool of the

their immediate presence and to

very "vile law.
Xotice also that the Democrats in

quoted, ab 'Ve shows that this is a
base falsehood. I'.ut we wish to

Davidson, for his ofiieial opinion as
to the powers ot the federal Super

paper we publish the opinion of the
Attorney General General under
date of Oct. 31, 18'J2, in full. Th
following is the closing paragraph:
"I therefore am of the opinion that
Supervisors in county and parish elec
t ion districts have not the right, as
such supervisors, to challenge voters,
or to make lists of registered elec

to perform with respect to registra
tion, but simply to be "in the imme

proceeelings, including the countings
of the votes and making the returns
thereof."
Very truly yours,

Mr. Simmons to be sure that he
was backed by good authority was
not satisfied with the opiuion of the
Attorney General but also applied to
the law firm of Battle & Mordecai,
and the firm of Batcheler & Dever

in full in another column their opin

of Nov. 2, 1S92. The following is

"The law requires no duties of

N. B Mr. Simmons stated that
the new tariff bill taxed diamonds,
whereas they were free. That is true
of diamonds, rough or uueut, taxed
10 per cent., but of diamonds, paste,
pearls, rubies, cameos and other
precious stones set as jewelry and
cameos in frames, reduceel from T0

Wilmington Star, one of the most
prtiniiuent Demeicr.-ttic papers in the
State, leaves out of its tariff list this
paragraph, the largest one in the
section.- Why does it do this? Is it
to cover Democratic perfidy:' If so,
the people should know it.

We, thp undersigned citizens of
Ararlboio county, each bought one
of the Wroutrht Iron Raneres sold
here ten years ago, and have just re
placed th "in with a New Home Com
fort Steel Range, which from their
construction and the material used,
we feel confident will last three
times as long as the old ones, and
besides they have many more con
veniences :

T. Smith, George Ballard, S. R. Bar

Covington, J. il. Smith, Harris
Odom, Eli Chavis, KingOdom, Eliab

We are using a Home Comfort
Steel Range and find it to be all tlat
is claimed for it by its salesmen. It
bakes perfectly, require less wood,
and does everything in a more satis
factory manner than any range or
stove we have ever seen. We think
it well worth the price paid for It.
