DONT BE THIN.
No Need
of Being Scrawny, Weak
and Emaciated.
In these days of physical culture
and health foods, one would hardly
expect to see any thin, weak, emaci
ated people, but in spite of all this,
nearly every person you meet is thin
and scrawny.
Good healthy flesh can only be
gained by the use of the proper food
wdth thorough assimilation of the
fat-giving elements. Nine people out
of ten In order to weigh as much as
they ought and be perfectly healthy,
should use Samose, the great flesh
forming food. "Weigh yourself be
fore commencing to use, these little
tablets,, and see how your weight In
creases. Samose has valuable flesh-forming
and tissue building properties, and
when it Is assimilated with the food,
it causes the flesh-making elements
to be retained and the weight is natu
rally increased.
Jno. S. Blake-Drug Co., the popu
lar druggists, have sold fn. the last
few, weeks, a great many packages
of Samose, every one with their per
sonal guarantee to refund the money
If it did not give satisfaction and has
had but one person ask for the
money back.

When you married pretty Suzanne, about 10 years ago, you remem
ber I tried ray level best to get you to take out 10 shares of building and
loan stock, but you wouldn't listen to it, preferring, you said, to put your
spare money in the bank at 4 per cent.
Now, John, be honest and tell us just how it has worked, and how
much you've saved. ,
WELL, KEESLfER, I'ldY BE FRANK.
It didn't work. It never does. It's a fair theory, but in practice It lacks
the essential elements of regularity, and compulsion to' say nothing of
adequate compensation. I kept up the deposits for about two months reg--ularly,
then began to miss, and finally quit entirely. I've got no home, I've
saved up no money, I'm right much in, debt, I'm disheartened; I've got a
wife and 5 children,' and it's hard now to make ends meet.
TAKE COURAGE, JOHN.
Just take 2 or 3 shares in our July series,' and see how it feels to be
gin to save. Lop off those cigars and quit the club for a while. You can't
afford such now. You'ye got to start over again. , ' '

AN APPRECIATIVE CLIENT
The widow of a good man whose estate we have been handling for
about two years, writes our Trust Officer, as we are about to file our
final account as administrator; .
"I can never show my appreciation for all the Company has lone
for me, and I feel that you, too, have had a large share of the trnab'e
and work, and want to thank you personally ' as well. I want you to
see the best you can do for us in continuing the management of the
estate and hope to be able to let you do so, for you do so much bet
ter than I could, for I know so little about it. Maybe I can larn
In time." .
Such appreciation as' that makes us love our work. A man certainly
makes a big mistake to die and leave the management of his estate to
his widow. They "know so lit tie" about it."
