Capital. . , . , . .: ... . . . . .$ 200,000.00 Surplus, Profits and Reserves . 250,000.00 Resources ... ...... ., .... 3,000,000.00 OFFICERS: H. M. Victor, Pres. F. D. Alexander, Vice Pres. D. P. Tillett, Cashier. A. G. Trotter, Asst. Cashier DIRECTORS: F. D. Alexander C. C. Coddington Peter S. Gilchrist E. D. Latta, Jr. R. Mj Miller H. M. Victor We cordially invite new business and refer with pleasure to our present customers, all of whose wants are cared for with proper regard to conservatism and necessity and whosedeposits are safeguarded with high grade investments and well secured loans. While liquidation and deflation have yet a further road to travel, particularly in retail merchandise, we advise continued conservatism and economy. As we have said before, good times will not come suddenly to everyone at once, but each concern and in dividual must use intelligence, practice thrift and economy and those that do will succeed and those that do not will have hard times. So whether good times come or not there will come normal times. Normal times, not normalcy (an ugly word reminds one of pusley, a soft weed without flower or fruit.) While the days are going by we suggest the accumu lation of an available cash reserve bearing 4 per cent ready on a moment's notice in a Strong, Conservative Bank, ready for the opportunity. 4 per cent plus availability, plus opportunity, will beat eight or ten per cent minus availability, when opportunity comes. Available means you can get it whenever you want it. SAVINGS DEPARTMENT Start a rainy day fund and if you have started one add to it. A new quarter begins in this department July 1st. All deposits made on or before July 5th will bear in terest from July 1st at 4 per cent componuded every three months. Especial arrangements for halding de posits by mail from out-of-town parties. i itan a Yo 99 STATE DENTISTS GATHEWGHERE Df, M. A. Bland is Only Surviving: Charter Mem ber of Society.
