noon 11 to 1. Beck's timely hjtting
gave the locals their first victory. It
was scored in the ninth inning when
Lacy led off with a triple, Goslin was
purposely passed and then Beck singled
his second baseman home for a 7-6
triumph.
In the afternoon event Johnson was
batted hard while Lefty Townsend
