maintained a taciturn calmness and indifference.

Salisbury, Dec. 9 In the presence of
a few friends and relatives, Miss Janet
Quinn became the bride of A. Neville
Gething in a quiet home wedding
Thursday morning. The bride was ac
companied to the altar by her father,
M. C. Quinn, and her only attendant
was Miss Susie Hutchinson, of Char
lotte. Perry Sessions, of Charlotte, act
ed as best man. The ceremony was
said by Dr. Byron Clark, pastor, of
First Presbyterian church. . - .

The groom is u native of England
but has lived in Salisbury several
months. The bride is the only daugh
