Judge Bond heard the proceedings and announced at the outset that he 1(3 consider only evidence dealing with the qualifications of Mrs. Muse to possess the little girl. He said that by reason of the fact that Mr. Blake had been divorced from his former wife for adultery and because of other indict- ments pending against him, he would not consider his own fitness to take charge of the child. The evidence then pivoted upon the fitness of Blake's for mer wife to keep the daughter. Blake was represented by D. E. Hen derson, of the Charlotte bar, in addi tion to Raleigh lawyers. The case gre v out of an alleged ab duction of the child by Blake during Fair Week, when he went down to Ral eigh and took his little daughter to the fair, later coming directly to Charlotte With hfr. The case against Blake for abduction is still pending in the courts of Wake county. TWO FRENCH SAILING VESSELS ARE CAUGHT Madrid, Dec. 16. By the Associated Press) The Spanish gunboat Bonifaz has captured two French sailing ves sels, which were conveying consign ments of arms and munitions to the Moroccan insurgents, and sunk an other vessel engaged in the same oc cupation, it was announced in an offi cial report received here today.
