One is ex-Governor Thayer, who claims he is still en titled to act a Governor. The other is Governor Boyd, who carried the Htate iu November by a plurality. The third is Mr. Power, the candi date of the Farmers' AHiauce, who took the oath of olllce at 1 O'clock to day, and claims that the Legislature will recogufse him us Governor. All the new Htate officers have been recognized except the Governor. "Tom" Major was installed as Lieu tenant Governor and Pre-ident of the Senate under protest Gov. Boyd has been recognized by all the new State officers as Governor, and they will report to him. l he prnc- tings rr 1 1- ' : e vol a of a routine character, but in the House an uproar was created by a motion to appoint a committee to wait on the Governor and ask for his messaee. Thaver refused to vacate the office, declaring that Burd had never been naturalized, and w as therefore Ineligible.
