New York, July 1 C. W. Lee & Co. say: The Journal of Commerce figures published yesterday and showing prac tically no change in condition during the month have had considerable influ ence on sentiment. While that author ity expressly states it's belief in. the fact that correspondents have allowed too much weight to the late season and the smallncss of the plant, none the less it is now feared that the govern rrent report may be based on the same distorted view of correspondence. We say distorted because there is abso lutely nothing in the present condi tion of cotton as reported by reliable HIS LAST HOPE REALIZED. (From the Sentinel, Gebo, Mont.) In the first opening of Oklahoma to settlers in 1889, the editor of this pa per was among the many seekers af ter fortune who made the big race one fine day in April. During his traveling about and afterwards his camping' upon his claim, he encountered much heat, gave him a very severe diar rhoea which it seemed almost impos sible to check, and along in June the case became so bad he expected to die. One day one of his neighbors brought him one small bottle of Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy as a last hope. A big dose was given him while he was "rolling about on the ground in great agony, and in a few minutes the dose was repeated. The good effect of the medicine was soon noticed and within an hour the patient was taking his first sound sleep for a fortnight. That one little bottle worked a complete cure, and he cannot help but feel grateful. The season for bowel dis orders being at hand suggests this item. For sale by R. H. Jordan & Co. Qentlemen t Tn September, 1899,-1 took rheumatism in a very bad form. In a month after the disease started T had to irivn tin mr wnrlr and sro to 1 bed. It continued to grow worse until bu iuuuu an mat i latum not, use mem. My lega were drawn oacic until my feet touched my hips. I was as helpless as a baby for nearly twelve months. The muscles of my arms and leirs were hard and shriveled up. I suffered death many timns over. Was treated by six different physicians in McColl, Dillon and Marion, but none of them could do me anyjeood, until Dr. J. P. Ewlng, of Dillon, came to see me. He told me to try your " Khicumacide." He got me one bottle of the medicine and I began to take it and before the first bottle was used up I began to get better. J. used five and' a half bottles and was completely cured. That was two years ago, and my health has been excellent ever since. Have had no symptoms of rheumatism. I regard Rheumacide " as by far the best remedy for rheumatism on the market. I cannot say too much for it. -1 have recommended it to others since and it has cured them. . Will say further, that I began to walk in about six days after I began to take Khkumacide," with the aid of crutches ; in about three months after I began to take it, I could walk as good as anybody, and went back to work again. Very truly, JAMK3 WILKES. All Druggists, or sent express prepaid on receipt of $i.oo- Bobbltt Chemical Co., - authorities that could . compare with the condition of a month ago. As we have said all along there is nothing hi the present condition to arouse any enthusiasm. The condition is not good. But when correspondents say there is no betterment after these weeks of fairly favorable conditions, the con servative element will be asked to differ. It is entirely upon the outlook of the new crop that options in the market must be based. If the crop :s not doing well" and is no better than it was a month ago why there are many reasons for buying. But we can not help, feeling that no great advan tage is to be derived from the purchase of cotton at moment. New crop months range between 9 and 10 cents. On a break below there purchases seem ta involve little risk and return good profits. But we would not buy except on substantial declines and would then sell on advances. Prices, or rather quo tations on July, August and September are marked up or down at pleasure of pool, rnese options correspond to a stacked pack of cards. They are to Le avoided.
