The Trinity College baseball team f ' leave here tomorrow evening at ':"0 o'clock for a two days' trip in Castonia and Winston-Salem, where ihe Methodist boys will cross bats 'villi Clemson College, of South Caro ina, May 1st and 2d. The game on i he first was previously arranged to take place in Charlotte, but the various reasons the contest could not take place in that city, and Manager tamels has arranged two games, the lirst May 1st in Gastonia, and the second in Winston-Salem the follow ing day. C, April 29. A great jgame of ball is expected Saturday when Davidson College and the Uni versity of Tennessee cross bats at Ful ton Heights park. Both teams are strong this year and the result is a matter throughout the south. The Tennessee boys have beaten "Vanderbilt and have a string of other victories to their credit. Davidson has taken a brace and is showing up well. The Presbyterians have won over half of their games, and lost the rest by the narrowest margin.
