The closing exercises of the cotton mill gfaded school at Lancaster, S. C., were held Saturday afternoon In the school’s handsome and spacious audi torium. The program consisted of dialogues, songs, , recitations, etc. These exercises reflected much credit upon both pupils and teachers, and were highly successful in every par ticular, each child performing exceed ingly well his or her part of the pro gram. Col. Leroy SpringSr chairman of the board of trustees, was present, and be ing called upon fcr an address, made a strong appeal to the citizens of the mill community to stand by their school in every possible manner, and to compel th^lr children to attend reg ularly.
