"Rock Hill Plan' Wilt Cause Considerable Reduction Special to The News. - - , .. Rock Hill, S. C, Feb.; 8. According to reports received j at headquarters, the "Rock Hill Plan" will cause a.con siderable reduction in the cotton ac reage this year. Colpnel Anderson, the originator, wires that Alabama; Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas have fallen in line and are getting down, to work" in dead earnest. YorK county has been about completed and Rock Hill Has Water Problem "Rock-Hill, S. C, Feb.; 8. The public works commission is now considering the problem of securing an adequate water7 supply, but it is evident that in a. few years with the rapid growth of the city that wells will. not te ade quate, hence the commissioners are preparing in advance for the increas ed supply , that will be needed. - An engineer has been secured to make an investigation and report to the commission the best plan for securing the water. When asked if the commis sion contemplated going to the Cataw ba for the water supply, Mr. Johnson, chairman of the commission, stated that he did not know; that the com mission was waiting until the engi neer had made his investigation and filed his report.' "We are going to have plenty . of water from some where," Commissioner Johnson stat ed. " ,'- , . ' : putting the plan in operation with great success. Every cotton county in ho state, excepting Spartanburg, has been organized, and this is expected to get busy i nthe next few days. THE TRUE TEST v Tried In Charlotte,, It hias Stood the Test. ' The hardest test is the test of time, and Doan's Kidney Pills have stood it well In Charlotte. Kidney sufferers can hardly ask for stronger proof than the following: W. H. Kidd, 316 Mint St., Charlotte, N.'C, says: "My kidneys were disor dered for several years as the result of injury and I was suffering intensely a few months ago, when I was advised to try Doan's Kidney Pills. I got a supply at R. H. Jordan & Co.'s Drug Store and I must say that the results of their use were very satisfactory. My kidneys were strengthened and the pains and other symptoms of my trouble were removed. I hope that my statement will induce other kid ney sufferers to give Doan's Kidney Pills a trial." (Testimonial given Jan uary 31, 1908.) A Lasting Effect. Mr. Kidd was interviewed on Febru ary 23, 1911 and said: "The cure Doan's Kidney Pills made in my case three" years ago has been permanent and it gives me the greatest pleasure to verify my former endorsement of them: This remedy Is certainly an effective one." " For sale by all dealers. Price 50 cents. Foster-Milburn Co. Buffald, New York, Bole agents for the United States. , - : . Remember the name rDoan's and take no other. HOW COLDS AFFECT THE KID NEYS. Avoid taking cold if your kidneys are sensitive. Cold congests the kidneys. throws too much work upon them, and weakens their action. Serious kidney trouble and even Bright's disease may result. Strengthen .your kidneys, get rid of the pain and soreness, build them up by the timely use of Foley Kidney Pills. They will cure any case of kidney or bladder trouble not be yond the reach of medicine. No medi cine can do more. Bowen's.
