Quigley. trading as Kenefick Hoffman & Company: The Norfolk Southern Railroad Company; and the Raleigh, Charlotte & Southern Railway Company, Defendants. The following defendants in the above entitled action, viz: William Kenefick, J. W. Hoffman and R. M. Quigley, trading as Kenefick-Hoffman & Company, will take notice that on the 21st day of Dec,, 1913, a summons in the said action was issued against the said defendants by C. C. Moore, Clerk of the Superior Court of Meck lenburg County, North Carolina; that the above named plaintiff claims in said action that the said defendants are indebted to him in the sum of $10,000.00, due him for work perform ed and material furnished in grading a part of the road bed for the Norfolk & Southern Railroad.
