The case should be tried exclusively on the evidence; not upon emotions. When so tried it will add speed to the final termination of the case, as there will be less for lawyers to lug in, effort to obtain a new trial. If such did not shorten the life of such cases, then the laws or the judges would be wrong and one or the other, or, perhaps, both, should be changed.
