Tams Rock Out As Students Swing Out

A cherry bomb, a stick of dyn
amite, a hand grenade, a bomb,
an Atomic Bomb — well, at last
we are gettingpretty close to equa
ting the type of explosion caused
in UNC-C Union Thursday night,
April 13.
This was the day that the Tams
returned and an explosion is exact
ly the type of action that their
soulful songs and dances trigger
ed.
Frankie and the ' Funtimers,
along with the Tempests highlight
ed UNC-C’s New Arts Festival
Week, April 9-14, with what has
been called the most spectacular
performance of the school year.
The road manager, Otis Pope,
says that the Tams consider them
