The long talked of 1 electoral f n
sion in this State between the Dem
ocrats and the Populists is at least
an accomplished fact. The deal
was made in Raleigh last night.
There was a good deal of caucusing
between the two committees, and
although lusion was a foregone con
clusion, it was not until 1 o'clock
this morning that the work was
completed and the electors named.
