A POOR FARMER MURDERED Killed for His Money While Driving; Jits Ox-Team Home from Marsh Tllle. ..' " j ; Monroe, Oct. 12. There was a murder committed neur Marshville, this county, last Thursday uigbl, the news of which has just been brought here. John B Marsh, a . poor white farmer, started from the above named village at night in his ox cart. N ot 'arriving heme that night or the next daj, his neighbors started out to look for him. His body was found near the roadside, about mid way between his home and the vil lage, which ; are five miles apart. The dead man had put his money in his pocket and then tied the pocket above, thus se. curing it. The robber must have been frightened before he had time to find the money.
