The meeting which was in pro gress last" .week at the Baptist church, closed Sunday night. Rev. Starrette conducted, the eery ices Saturday night and Sunday night. Rev. Prevailing direction of the wind was northeast. Total rainfall 2 12 inches. A revival was begun at Forest Hill Methodist church Sunday night and will continue throughout the week. Two services will be held each day, at 3 o'clock in the -after noon and at 7.15 in the evening. Rev. G G Harley conducted the service Sunday night, in the absence of Rev. Arnold the pastor, who preached for Rev. McGee at Bay's Chapel. The names of a latge number of ladies were read to the congregation the same being a committee to visit strangers and the sick in the com - munity and to report to the cbair man, Mrs. H M Barrow. PERSONAL POINTERS. Communion was held at the First Presbyterian church Sunday morn ing. The hour for holding the Sunday school at this church has been changed from 4 to 3 o'clock. The bell will ring at 2 30. There will be a meeting of the Covenant Society in the lecture room of the chuich tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock. It is a meeting in wtih the little boys are1 greatly interested and it is hoped that there will be a lare attendance. RAINFALL.
