A letter from Steward Paul Cald
well, who is with the Maryland
Guards now at Chicamauga, to his
folks, informs us that the troops
going over to Chicamauga, in those
different sections were in three
wrecks. He also says that they
had to march from Chattanooga to
Chicamauga, a distance of nearly
twelve miles. On the march, he
says, twelve men had to drop out
of the ranks, being unable 10 go
any further.
