In an interview this morning, Mr. .Robinson asked that several facts be pointr nut to the people, of which they may possibly be ignorant. In the first place everyone who has received a blank on which to make "his income tax return is required to do so, wheth er his income from the past year will make him liable to the tax or not. (hr the othei- hand, Mr. Robinson slated' that every one who is liable to the income ta;x is bound by. law to make his return, whether he has re eeived the proper blanks or not. The law makes it the duty of the individ ual to secure these blanks from the "collector of internal revenue, and fail tire, of the collector to send tax re turn blanks will in no wise excuse the person who should have made the re turn. Mr. Robinson has a supply of these blanks on hand to supply those persons who did not receive one by mail. The penalty for failure to make in come tax returns, or for mis-stating facts in making the return, can be anywhere from' a-fine of $20 to a fine of Sti.OOO hurt" imprisonment for twelve months The services of Mr Robinson iu assisting persons in mak ing out their returns are absolutely tree to the tax payer, and th'dse who have not yet made out their returns will do well to attend to this matter :'t oi.ee. .Military Rand Concert Next Monday Night. The cereal substitutes that will be most generally used, by takers will-tie' corn meal, edible wheat middlings and shorts and barley flour. Rye break may be baked by itself but rye is not in cluded in the list of cereal substitutes. Whole wheat graham flour containing approximately 25 per cent of midd lings, shorts and bran is regarded as the ideal combination because it is al ready mixed and our people are fami liar with the product. The Food Administration has amend ed the baking regulations so as to pro videfor the baking of a three quarter pound loaf which may be baked singly or in twin form. Iits manufacture is subject to all rules governing the other oaves, its weight simply- adding an ad ditional loaf size. The new loaf must not vary more than three-quarters of an ounc in weight above or below three quarters of a pound.
