Mr. and Mrs. Odell Fletcher have moved from Powder street to a vacant house on Young street. The family of Rev. M. F. Kester. who has lieen confined to their home for some time with the measles, are reported as being improved. Miss Ollie McCall, of Charlotte, and Miss Efiie Kiser, of Roberta, were vis itors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam McCall recently. Mr. Lonnie Smith, who for some time was confined to his room, is still improving. Mr. James McEachern, who is hav ing ten new houses built near his home on Corbin street., lias the work almost completed, and several of the houses are already occupied. Elma. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fnderwood. who has measles, is improving. Mr. and Mrs. Have Collett are now keeping house on Young street. .Airs. Carrie McCall, who lias been sick and lias been taking pellagra treatment for some time, is somewhat improved. , Mr. Allison Carriker is able to be out again after having had measles. M.
