Fisher, who has the con tract for building the new jail, made a business trip to Martins ville Wednesday returning Thurs day. W. D. Rucker. of Greensboro, N. C„ visited his mother, Mrs. W. B, Rucker, a few days this week. B. P. Phillips, who has been painting at Francisco, N. C„ re turned to Stuart Wednesday. W. H. Wimbish spent Sunday iu town. John L.
