THE DANBURY REPORTER.
MADISON ROUTE 3.
Madison Route .'{, May 25.
Rev. A. R. Berkley and wife dined
with Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Wall
Sunday. Mr. Berkley preached
to a very attentive congregation at
Knoll Hurst in the afternoon.
This is the doggondest district
in the county. One man sold about
$50.00 worth of puppies last year.
Now his neighbor has 11 hounds.
We are glad to learn that Mrs.
H. L. Wall is better after quite an
attack of bronchitis.
People are about through plant
ing tobacco. The seasons for such
work have been very favorable.
There was more fertilizer bought
in this district than in 10 years,
and more tobacco planted than in
several years. Lookout for a low
price.
Mr. Editor, can't you pursuade
the people to raise more mules in
Stokes and stop letting so much
of our money go to other States
for stock ¥
