The Jr. O. U. A. M. of this
place presented the public school
of the Barham school with a nice
play and Bible Saturday. Owing
to Hon. C. O. McMichael getting
crippled by a team running away
with him a few days since, the
play was presented by Prof. Sharp,
of Stoneville. The Bible was pre
sented by W. H. Whitehead, prin-'
cipal of New Bethel Academy,
with a fine speech.
The boys pulled off their negro
minstrel Saturday night to a d> •
lighted honse.
Mr. L. A. Duncan, of Dillard,
was here yesterday HIKI curried
away Messrs. J. A. Duncan mid
Russell Mitchell, who have been
attending school here. They eay
