NEWS OF KING ISO STUDENTS IN SCHOOL King Baptist Sunday School To Give Entertainment Christmas — Personal Matters. King, Nov. 21. -Our school is getting on ftne with 150 enrolled and 30 in high school. Old King is coming to the front, as our new school house is going up in a hurry. Mr. Merlie Neal and two other men from Penn. took a flying trip to Pilot Mtn. last Sunday. A party of boys and girls of King went to Mt. Olive last Thursday night. Among them were Misses Ruby and Daisy White, Eva Linville, Mollie Ben nett, Emma Hutchins. and , Alverta, Agnes and Macie Pul | liam. Messrs. The passeger schedule on the Winston-Salem Southbound Rail way will be inaugurated on Thurs day, December 15th, unless present calculations go wrong, j and thki is the date fixed for the I jubilee to be held here in celebra-1 tion of the event. The first train will be run here from Florence, S.C.,and will come in as many sections as will be necessary to carrv the passen gers comfortably. The train will stop at every sta tion along the line, will arrive here at noon and leave at 5 o'clock. The chairman of the committee has power to appoint sub-commit tees to take charge of the visitors and take them through the leading factories and entertain! them in other ways. An entertainment will be held at the Elks' Auditorium with-' short speeches by prominent citi zens, and a banquet will be given the business men who come over ! at the Zinzandorf. Bowles entertained their many friends and neighbors with an old-time com shucking and dance at night. After the corn was all shucked, everybody was invited to the dining room where a nice supper was spread. After supper was finished everybody proceeded to the room and made ready for dancing where they began dancing which lasted un til about 1:30. Everybody went home tired and sleepy. But everyone seemed to have an enjoyable time. Those present were Misses Sallie Spease, Edna Sprinkle, Eva Spease.
