This morning shortly after sunrise, with the wheels of their conveyance ice-clogged, and with the cheeks of the pretty bride as sparkling-fed as the wine-saps of the Blfie Ridge coves, a jolly wedding party blew in from Patrick. The happy intended were Mr. Fred Williams, of Stuart, and Miss Calla Scott, of Vestal. Within little more than an hour from the time of arrival they were pronounced man and wife by Rev. T. J. Tolger, of the M. E. Church. Accompanying the party was Mr. Robt. Williams, brother of the groom, who acted as body guard and master of ceremonies. After getting breakfast, dur ing which time Dr. Slate, the Register of Deeds, had time to phone to Stuart and inquire if the parties were not too young, Mr. Williams and Miss Scott re paired to the court house, the license was issued, and the preacher summoned. Danbury is the Gretna Green for Patrick runaway couples, and they always find a refuge here. WALNUT COVE ROUTE 1. Nr. Charlie Tuttle Entertains His Friends—Personals.
