Mr. Cabell Hairston, Jr.. passed away Thursday P. M.. at 1:20 o'clock, with meningitis, aired o4 years ami It' months. His symptoms were not considered serious until early Sunday morn ing when he became unconscious and his friends and relatives were notified of' his alarming illness The funeral services were conducted Saturday morn ing at 1(> o'clock at the Vaughn hotel by Rev. A. C. D. Noe. of lit. Airy, interment being made in the Stokesburg burying ground. The deceased leaves a father. Mr. Cabell Hairston. and i sisters. Misses Loulie and VN'illit. Hairston, of Manatee. Fl rida. and Mrs. Frank Dunk ley. )f Winston-Salem. N. C.. besides other relatives to mourn their loss. The family have our deepest sympathy. May the Lord bless them in their srreat sorrow. Florida, was at the bedside of his son, Cabell, during his illness and death at Walnut Cove Miss Stella Kierson is spend ing a few days at Winston- Salem visiting friends and re latives. Miss Lizzie Vaughn returned to her home Sunday after spend ing two weeks in Winston visit ing friends. Mrs. S. C.. has returned to Walnut Cove to take up his position with the Stokes County Union Warehouse Co. Miss Thenia Bayer, of Pine Hall, is visiting her aunt. Mrs. W. S. Vaughn. Mrs. T. K. Bruton. of Raleigh, was in town last week on busi ness. Mr. John Bailv. Jr., went to Winston Sunday returning home, Monday. Mr. Bradley, of Greensboro, attended the funeral of Mr. Cabell Hairston.
