Washington, Noted Negro leader. Tuskegee, Ala., Nov. 15. Funeral arrangements were be ing completed today for Booker T. Washington, the i.oted negro educator, who died here yester day of a nervous breakdown. | The funeral services will be held at Tuskegee Institute Wed nesday morning, followed by interment in the Institute grounds. The body will be in state all day tomorrow. Promi ent educators and others from various parts of the country are expected to attend the funeral. Elder Walter Mabe, of Sandy Ridge Route 1, was a visitor here Monday. Mr. Mabe has ac : cepted a position with the Stokes 1 County Warehouse at Walnut | Cove. THE DANBURY REPORTED Wholesale Indictment of Automobile Owners liuleigh, Nov. 13 The most; wholesale indictment of auto mobile owners on record is in dicated by inquiry that has come to the State department here from Sheriff George W. Flynt, of Forsyth county, as to the owners of 52 automobile numbers, it being understood that these machines have recently violated the auto regulations in Winston - Salem. The owners are found to be scattered as widely as Wil mington, Gastonia, Cherryville, Salisbury, Greensboro, High Foint and numbers of other points as remote. Register of Deeds Morefield [ reports that the sale of marriage licenses is unusually dull now. Not a single license has been i issued for a week. Distress in the Stomach.
