rural sections. The PostotTice I

periments with the automobile
for the purpose of quickening the
rural delivery and improving the
postal facilities. The Postmaster
General reports that a carrier
with an automobile can serve a
route of at least fifty miles
and serve it better than i now
done by the ordinary wagons on
a route of twenty-five mik\*.
The automobile is in use on
over four hundred of the experi
