After the Treas urer's report a letter pertain ing to Mission Study Work was | read by Mrs. Lelia Blackwell, | and instead of a regular Miss | ion study class a Bible course of study was decided on. In i Iteresting readings were given by Miss Mildred Hanes and Mrs. T. D. Preston. The Society adjourned to meet with Mrs. C. L. Lester in April. A salad course was served by the hos tess. James Mabe Dies Near Madison Madison. March 18.— Jim Mabe. age "I. of the Buffalo Community, died at his home Thursday at 1 :H» o'clock, fol lowing an attack of pneumonia, lie was a well-known farmer.
