I Fun At WAIR Station, Winston What Don Gardiner, Roger von Roth, and Rosser Fowlkes, —an- nouncers at Radio Station WAER, I in. Winston-Salem—, wouldn't do J tot haveca bit of fan at-the' 1 ex pense of other members, of WAIRJs staff is yet to be' found- " Any thing is liable to happen" seems to bet the keynote- of this fuht loving; trio. All previous efforts at "goat getting?' were surpassed Ha art week when Don Gardiner and? Ros ser Fbwlkea accused Pat Moseley, WAlß's. publicity" director, of being; "stuck-up",—and proceeded! to prove tlieir accusations. Somehow half a pint of gftie was spilled 1 in Dtm'S- desk. Dur ing efforts crean the. resulting mess away the idea of smearing it on the "stuck-up publicity di rector hit the playful paic. This, they thought, would certainly make him "stuck-up" in more ways than those they had" accused him of being. Pat suspected that everything was not quite all right when this i : pair of jokesters began slapping "is back; telling him what a swell %> guy he was; —and, above all. ad mitting that they were wrong about the "stuck-up" accusations. jThey left him plenty "stuck up," and yearning for sweet revenge, j Revenge did come late that same day. Gardiner and Fowlkes i were at dinner, —and Pat could! And no better time to smear their | desk telephones with good, black' printer's ink that really sticks to nice clean hands. Upon their re turn. both received calls at the same time; —calls that left them; ink smeared ears and hands, and' ave Pat Moseley a good hearty laugh.
