Pearce, the home agent, helped the club discuss the farm family's needs, 'and how to save money. The club is willing to help the Red Cross in any way it can when called upon. Mem- bers present: Mesdames P. H Robertson, R. A. Robertson, B. O Sheppard, H. D. Lassiter, J. N Tucker, E. G. Lawson, O. E Smith, C. M. Chester Wood is at the Stuart, Va. hospital where he underwent an appendectomy Sunday. Mary Lawson spent the week end with Misses Mildred and Betty Martin. I Mrs. Walter Lackey visited Mrs. Louie Rogers Sunday. Kathleen Sheppard went to Mt. Airy Monday. I Ross Lawson spent the week end with Ben Dalton at Stuart, Va. I Elbertt Lawson of King visited relatives here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tucker visit ed Stuart Hospital Monday. The Lawsonville 4-H club broadcast over radio station WAIR Saturday, Jan. 4. The program was "Looking Ahead In 4-H Club Work". Members taking part in the program were Nancy Priddy, Billie Tucker, Winfred Young and Charles Robertson, j Virginia Ray and Wallace Ray are working at Martinsville, Va. Cleo Ray spent the week-end with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Her bert Ray. Miss Ray is in train ing at Dr. Martin's Memorial hos pital, Mt.
