attended a state-wide meeting of
the Citizens Service Corps.
Addresses were made by many
outstanding officials, including
Gov. Broughton, Gen. Wood, and
others.
Mr. Macßae says Gen. Wood
addressed his remarks to the de
fense of North Carolina, and that
the General left no doubt in the
minds of the audience of the prob-1
ability of an air attack in the j
state.
