their local schools next week |
from October 25 to October 2S.
Monday and Tuesday are set
apart for registration of all fam
: ilies with children in school. An-,
.
j plication blanks will be given by ;
[teachers to one child in each fam
ily. These blanks are to be car
ried home, the name and age of
j each member of the family care
fuly filled in and signed by the '
parent or head of the family.
This application blank together
with all of the Book 3's of the en
tire family unit are to be return
ed to the school on Monday or
Tuesday. The teachers will then
issue Book 4 and return both
books 3 and 4 by the child en
trusted with the duty of present
ing applications. Parents are
urged to entrust the book only to
a child who thoroughly under
stands and can be trusted with
the books. No duplicates will be
issued. If a book is lost it may
deprive the owner of necessary
| foods or other articles to be ra
' tioned. If there is no child in the
| family to whom the books may be
II safely entrusted, then the parent
should appear at the school.
Persons having no children in
school will be registered on Wed
nesday and Thursday, October 27
and 28. They must present Book
13 and be able to fill in name and
jage of each member of their fam
lily.
| Every man, woman and child is
urged td~ register on one of these
idays. No other registrations will
be held. Go to your nearest
school. Save gas and tires!
