The bordeaux mix turo is made as follows: Dissolve pounds of sulphate of copper (blue vitriol) in 2 quarts of water; slake SK pounds of limo in 2 quarts of water; add 21 gallons of water to tho slaked lime, and pour this into the vessel containing the copper solution, rejecting while doing so tho undissolved lumps of lime. Another formula for tho bordeaux mix tare Is to dissolve 6 pounds of copper sulphato in 10 gallons of water, and in " another vessel slako 4 pounds of lime in C quarts of water, mixing tho two after they aro cool. This mixture also the best preventive or rcmcSy for rot and Might on all fruits and crops, especial ly the grape. It should be applied with a brass force pump.
