Bethune on Thursday last ap peared before Judge Donohue in the Supreme Court, Chambers, and argued to vacate the order made by Judge Donohue last March appointing Mrs. Elsie Bethune, widow of Blind Tom's late-manager, John G. Bethune, a committee of. the idiot's 'person and property. Blind Tom is in charge of .Gen. Bethune, with whom he has lived in Farquhar county, Va., nearly all his life when not travelling, and he wanted the blind musician put permanently in his care. Argu ment yesterday was based on the fact that Blind Tom 'had always been a ward of the courts of Vir ginia and the courts of New York had no jurisdiction.
