rapialy developing into a fine com
pany. The boys ar tfrilling well
and learning very rapidly. When
they get their guns and uniforms
they will be (he pride of the town
and county.

We took a look in at the Green
ville Knitting Mills this week and
found every thing running very
nicely and doing good work.
At present there are ten knitting
frames, one napper and eighteen
machines at work, giving employ
ment to fifteen girls and seven men
making the capacity 100 dozen
garments per day. . The capacity
will be increased shortly by the ad
dition of more knitting frames and
machines and increase of force.
Mr. W. S. Atkins is general man
ager, with Miss Moore bookkeeper.
