Varying from customary procedure of naming two or four delegates to the convention to cast the vote of the district eight weie designated to cast one-fourth of a vote each. The delegates to the national con vention were T. M. Washington and H G aßtenian of Wilson: W. £. Clark, of Edgecombe: Dr. B. M. Nicholson and \V. L. I*ong of Hali fax, H. L Joyner, of Northampton; L C. Evans of Bertie, and Fred I. Sutton, of l*enior. H. P Fox ha 11. of Edgecombe, was named as the district member of the State platform committee.
