GAME LOOKS .LIKE “NATURAL” Durham, Oct. 4 —Duke’s Blue Dev ils left here today for Richmond, Va., where tomorrow they will meet Wash ington and Lee’s Generals in the ma jor early season engagement of the 1935 Southern conference campaign. The game will be played in Rich rrvond stadium and will start at thrcee o’clock. Duke’s 70-piece band will follow the team tomorrow. The game has all the earmarks of a “natural”. Both the teams have sailed through their early opposition without trouble and both have been boomed as possible Southern confer ence champions. Tomorrow’s game will tell that story. Thirty-six Blue Devils were in the party leaving here for their head quarters at the John Marshall. Bert Shore and Forest Glass will re main the No. 1 flankmen. while Joe Swan and George Hooks are the tackles. The opening guards—Ed Rogers and Boolie Bullard with Cap tain Perk Reinhardt at center. Walter Kitchin, Wake’s triple threat quarterback will be the field general, with Dal Morris, 155 pound blocking back, and Harold Warren, the halves. Jug Allen received the nomination in last week’s contest as the starting fullback and is a certainty to start against Clemson Tigers. Rules Set Up For Use Scout Cabin Rules for the use of the Girl Scout cabin in Willowood have been drawn up and were announced today by Mrs. Ralph Thompson, chairman of the Girl Scout Council. Agreement was reached on the rules at a meeting Monday night a committee asked to put the rules into concrete form. Mrs. G. W. Burton were named as a committee to undertake to arrange for transportation to the Scout cabin for regular meetings. Mrs. Thompson was elected chair, man of the council, succeeding Mrs. Knott. She will also be custodian of the Scout cabin and keep the keys to the house. It was planned to hold the court of awards during the last week in Oc tober, which is National Girl Scout Week. Rules for use of the cabin were announced today as follows: 1. Only Girl Scouts can be hostesses at the Girl Scout cabin. (a) Must be chaperoned by one of the council members (or one selected by a member of the council. .(b) Guests must not exceed 40 in number. ' 2. Only Girl Scouts will be allowed to go on overnight hikes. (a) Must be chaper'ned by at least two grown people. Submitted by committee on Scout Cabin. October 3, 1935.
