IIASKEKVILL Raleigh, May 28. —Drivers who have bad their driving permits revoked for one year because of convictions for drunken driving or following two con victions for reckless driving, use every known trick in an effort to get their licenses restored or to obtain entirely new licenses, Director Arthur Fulk of the highway safety division, of the Department of Revenue, said today. But so far all of these tricks have failed, due to the fact that the highway safety division is taking no chances and is “wise” to most of the tricks which are tried. The effort being made most fre quently now by those who have had their driving licenses revoked is to make new applications in which they change their names or initials slight ly, Fulk said. Within the last day or so a new application was received which seemed to look all right. But in all those whose licenses have ibeert revoked or suspended. And when this was checked, the name was almost identical with that of a man whose license had been revoked only a few weeks before.
